I've been going to Garage1880 for almost a year and training with Lillie. I can't begin to express how life changing it has been! I started off without a lot of strength due to various injuries and have come so far! Lillie was so patient and careful and I seriously can't thank her enough for all the work we've done together. All the trainers I've seen in the gym and worked with (shout out to Rebekah) are amazing! You cannot go wrong with choosing Garage!

I seriously can’t say enough good things about Garage 1880. As someone who was somewhat new to personal training and lifting weights in general, starting out can feel intimidating but I immediately felt at ease there. The energy is super welcoming and genuinely made me want to keep coming back. It’s very obvious that the trainers truly care about what they do, and there’s a real sense of community in the space. They also always have a great playlist going in the background, which definitely doesn’t hurt. I trained with Derrick, and he’s awesome — funny, kind, patient, and really great at what he does. What I appreciated most was the education he provided. He takes the time to explain why you’re doing each movement, how it should feel, and what muscles you’re working. I learned so much, and for the first time ever, I also feel confident working out on my own. He gave me the knowledge and form corrections I needed, so I don’t feel lost at the gym anymore. A huge win for me! After six months of training, I can confidently say I feel stronger. He strikes the perfect balance of pushing me hard enough to improve while always checking in to make sure I’m staying safe and not overdoing it. They’re also flexible and easy to schedule with, which — as someone who travels often for work — made staying consistent way less stressful. If you want a trainer who’s supportive, informative, and genuinely cares about helping you grow, hit up Garage 1880!!!!

Rebekah is an amazing personal trainer. Since starting with her in August 2025, I’ve made real progress in both my shoulder pain and overall strength. She’s incredibly attentive, always mindful of my shoulder and ankle mobility, and adjusts workouts to keep me safe while still pushing me forward. On top of that, our sessions are genuinely enjoyable! We work hard, but we also get to talk and laugh during rest breaks, which makes the experience so much better. I feel stronger, more confident, and actually look forward to adding weight to our workouts. I can’t recommend Rebekah enough!!

Highly recommend Garage 1880! The smaller space makes for a great environment, and the gym is comfortable and clean. Lillie is an excellent trainer, always checking form and helping work around injuries or other limitations. She’s also super friendly and fun to work with. It’s a great environment for anyone at any stage looking for a comfortable and fun atmosphere but also wanting to make solid progress.

Veronica is the best of the best and I love this gym! It is a lovely community of people with 1:1 care and attention from extremely skilled trainers. Veronica has worked with me through chronic disc issues, creating custom and very thoughtful programming that has helped me build strength. 12/10, would recommend!!
